I have more hobbies than I know what to do with. All my life I have been drawn to any form of creative outlet: drawing and painting, writing, knitting and crocheting, printing, gardening, etc. Reading, one of my most treasured hobbies, only serves as inspiration for my more hands-on hobbies.
Creativity is more than an expression of one's self, it is a way of life and a avenue to creating the world around us. Through creativity, we can make our own attire, adorn our homes with beautiful works of art, fill our kitchens with unique dishes and utensils. The desire to make something for ourselves, to create something where before there was nothing, can lead to growing our own produce. Cooking, baking, preserving are just further creative outlets.
With Nenna Rose, my goal is to spread the love of and desire for creativity. For a life filled with character and depth.

Each item in my shop is made by hand using age old techniques as well as modern ones. I create things that I love. Items that I would buy for myself or someone I love.
In today's day and age, it is important to find and develop our creative outlets. Creating something from scratch can bring peace and thoughtfulness, and maybe a bit of creative chaos, to our lives. With Nenna Rose, I hope to inspire through creativity.
Uniqueness
Since I started creating with the intension to sell, I decided to make things I like that I either haven't seen or don't see enough of. I have worked for companies that are afraid to make something truly new or unique because there isn't any data on selling and they don't think customers will buy it. If you want to stand out, then you have to take some risks. With Nenna Rose, I hope hope to create items that are true to myself and provide uniqueness at every turn.
Reading
Reading can be a difficult hobby/habit to get into. I learned to love reading when I was 12, and it has since been one of my most treasured hobbies. Reading opens up worlds, lets you either escape or delve deeper into the world around us. For me, reading provides a level of inspiration in my personal life as well as my creative life. I would not be where I am today, who I am today, or have the drive that I have today without the books I am read. With Nenna Rose, I hope to garner a love of reading.
